A 3-day focused programme on “Case Method of Teaching” was conducted for Air University on July 18-20, 2017. The programme was directed by Dr. Ehsan ul Haque and supported by Dr. Shakeel Sadiq Jajja and Dr. Syed Mubashir Ali. The Case Method has been the hallmark of the LUMS MBA programme for more than three decades. Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB) is widely recognised for its teaching excellence in degree and non-degree programmes.
The programme’s primary focus was on building a foundational understanding of the philosophy and application of case-based pedagogy and the administrative aspects to support such a discipline.
Interactive simulations and exercises were blended with classroom discussions on local and foreign case studies to ensure fruitful exchange of views among the academics.
