This is an outstanding achievement for the Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SBASSE) at LUMS in general and the Department of Chemistry in particular, because for the last several years almost all of the undergraduate students in Chemistry, who applied for admission to PhD programmes, received fully funded admission offers from the world’s best institutions in USA and Europe. This level of success of Chemistry undergraduate students in Pakistan is unique to LUMS only and reflects the quality of LUMS students, the strength of our programmes and the continuous efforts of the faculty to bring a paradigm shift in Science & Engineering education in Pakistan.
