Students at LUMS are constantly exposed to career opportunities nationally and internationally. Huawei Pakistan conducted its recruitment drive on October 28, 2016 at LUMS. Ms. Nomah Javed, PR Manager began the session with an introductory video of the company. Following this, Mr. Fraz Malik, Deputy General Manager gave a detailed overview of the company and its accomplishments. Huawei started its operations in 1987 and currently revenue growth is close to 70% with over USD 20 Billion achieved; it is the No. 3 smartphone company in the world.
Ms. Siki Luping, Human Resource Business Partner, further informed the students that Huawei is a place to realise your dreams. She questioned the students about their dreams and career progression within the next 5 years. She also elaborated on the eligibility criteria and future opportunities in Marketing, Retail, and Supply Chain & Finance departments at Huawei. At the end of the session, representatives of the company also conducted case study group discussions.
