An alumni reunion for the batch of 2013 and 2014 was held on Friday, October 14, 2016, at LUMS. Dr. Jamshed Khan (Professor, Suleman Dawood School of Business), Yasser Hashmi (Assistant Professor, Mushtaq Ahmad Gurmani School of Humanities and Social Sciences (MGSHSS) and Dean of Student Affairs), Dr. Nida Kirmani (Associate Professor, MGSHSS) and Dr. Ali Khan (Acting Dean, MGSHSS) along with many other faculty members were present at the occasion.
The alumni were warmly welcomed by the faculty and the alumni relations team. The presence of the graduates’ favourite faulty members added to their excitement. Separate sections were allocated to each school where the faculty members of the respected schools addressed and interacted with the alumni.
The young alumni networked and mingled with their batchmates over delicious hi-tea. The alumni team informally acquainted the participants of the benefits the department provides and the opportunity to be attached as a mentor with the LUMS Placement Office, Continuing Education support etc. The alumni office gathered insightful feedback from the alumni on various issues concerning LUMS and encouraged them to stay connected.
