On Friday, November 15, 2019, over 450 attendees convened to celebrate the academic excellence of undergraduate students of the Suleman Dawood School of Business.
The Dean's Honours List recognises outstanding academic excellence; it is awarded to undergraduate students who score a Grade Point Average (GPA) of minimum 3.60, and display integrity and good conduct. The ceremony began with Ms. Atifa Arif Dar’s welcome note and the recitation of the Quran by Ms Afaq, a student of the undergrad program at SDSB. Before the awards were distributed, SDSB’s Honorary Dean, Dr. Alnoor Bhimani, addressed the audience and extended his congratulations to the students for this accolade.
Dr. Alnoor, and Associate Dean, Dr. Syed Aun Rizvi, distributed certificates of achievement to 148 students during the ceremony, which was also attended by faculty and staff members, along with proud family members and friends.
The ceremony concluded with a hi-tea for participants and a photo session of students with their parents and faculty.
