The Shaikh Ahmad School of Law (SAHSOL) conducted a Career Consultation Session on March 31, 2017. The event was conducted by Ms. Summaya Zaidi, a SAHSOL Alumna (Batch of 2009) and practicing lawyer and legal researcher based in Karachi, and was attended by students from all three LL.B years.
The consultation entailed a general discussion on the diverse career opportunities which the BA-LL.B students of SAHSOL can pursue, and indeed have pursued over the years. Ms. Zaidi then gave an overview of how to conduct good quality academic research; the different types of work various law firms in Karachi are carrying out; and she also provided the students guidelines on job applications. This event was the second career event conducted by the Law School this week.
