Project management has developed into a sophisticated skill set of tools and techniques, which can help managers to complete their projects on time, within budgets. The Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) conducted its 4-day, open enrollment programme on Project Management in Karachi from May 9-12, 2017. Zahra Waheed, joined by Arif I. Rana and Muhammad Abdur Rahman Malik as teaching faculty, directed the programme, which incorporated areas related to project team dynamics, earned value analysis and planning tools.
The programme highlighted the areas of conflict management, earned value analysis and issues regarding development projects. Participants shared their learning through presentations as to how the concepts learnt during the programme can be applied at their organisations.The programme was well-received by the participants from diverse areas of expertise.
