LUMS Career Services Office organised a recruitment information session by Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on October 18, 2017. Conducted by Squadron Leader Amjad Imran (OC PAF Information and Selection Centre Lahore), the session covered the evolution of PAF over the years and its contributions during wars and peace as well as the fact that PAF has always remained at the cutting edge of technology and has maintained its pride as a one of the most prestigious and powerful Air Forces of the world.
Later, Squadron Leader Amjad shared detailed information about the career opportunities at PAF for promising and enthusiastic youth in the officer cadre like (GD (P) / CAE/ Air Defence), Engineers, Accounts, Met, Psychology and Computer / IT for its different branches biannually.
He then briefed about the selection procedure for Officers including online registration, e-testing, medical/interview, filling of application forms, ISSB, call letters, CMB and final merit list.
In the end, he told the audience about the perks and privileges that PAF personnel cherish during their career. He recommended students to apply in PAF not only to consider it as a job but to serve the motherland. The session concluded with an interactive question and answer session.
