LUMS National Outreach Programme (NOP) Centre initiated its outreach for Gilgit-Baltistan where their representative visited Public School and College for Boys, Aga Khan Higher Secondary College for Boys, Elysian Science College and Public School and College for Girls in Gilgit. The team reached out to around 210 students.
The NOP team representative visited Hunza City to spread the NOP outreach to Public School and College for Girls, Aga Khan Higher Secondary College for Girls and Hasegawa College where approximately 175 students were given information about LUMS National Outreach Programme and how to apply for it.
Other cities that were visited by the NOP representatives included Skardu, Gahkoch and Sherkilla where more than 650 students were given information about the scholarship.
Students took a keen interest in knowing about the educational qualifications and the extracurricular activities being offered at LUMS. Every presentation was followed by a question and answer session in which the prospective students actively participated.
A total of 5 cities and 13 colleges were visited in the Gilgit-Baltistan outreach. The message of NOP was spread to at least 1040 students in these schools and colleges.
