LUMS Law Journal Announces Call for Papers

LUMS Law Journal (LLJ) is pleased to announce a call for papers for its fifth volume. LLJ is a peer-reviewed publication of the Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL), LUMS, (available at https://sahsol.lums.edu.pk/law-journal/volume-1-editors-note).

The primary objective of LLJ is to provide a forum for scholarly discourse amongst law students, faculty, lawyers, judges, practitioners and experts on important legal and social issues, which may lead to policy reforms.

Nature of Submissions
The Journal comprises of various sections: Articles, Comments, Case Notes, Legislative Reviews, and Book Reviews. Articles are substantive research pieces of about 6000-8000 words. Comments, Case Notes and Legislative Reviews are discursive pieces and can be on recent bills, statutes, reports, as well as judgments of superior courts and should be between 2500-3000 words. All the given word limits are exclusive of footnotes.

Deadline for Submissions
Material for publication is accepted throughout the year. For the upcoming volume, please submit your work by 30 June 2018.
All submissions must be original and must not have been published elsewhere.
