The Career Services Office (CSO) and the Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL) organised a Law Networking Dinner for the BA-LL.B class of 2017. The event started at 7 PM on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Executive Dining Hall, LUMS. Graduating Law students participated in the event enthusiastically and appreciated it.

The Networking Dinner combined the excellent food and service of the LUMS Executive Dining Hall with a serious purpose, namely to provide our final year students with career advice and networking opportunities. There were also benefits for participating law firms which were able to meet potential recruits and to get to know our students in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. The event was opened by Senior Supreme Court Advocate, Mr. Salman Akram Raja, who shared his professional experiences and discussed the career opportunities for law students, stressing that a lawyer’s career is shaped by his or her passions and values.
The buffet dinner allowed students and lawyers to mingle over food and dessert and get to know each other. This was the first time that the School of Law organised its career advice session for final year students in the form of a Law Networking Dinner.
