As a part of the annual Harvard Trek, 25 students from the HARVARD Kennedy School visited Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) on Monday, March 13, 2017. The Harvard Trek is a regular feature of the HARVARD Kennedy School that takes students to visit different countries around the world. Last year, eight students visited Pakistan while, this year the number jumped to 25, making the visit to Pakistan a huge success. The purpose of this visit is to engage with major stakeholders in Pakistan.
The delegation met with Syed Babar Ali, Pro-Chancellor, LUMS and Dr. Martin Lau, Dean of Shaikh Ahmad School of Law (SAHSOL). It then visited the LUMS Centre of Entrepreneurship (LCE) where they met with Mr. Khurrum Zafar, Director, LCE and were given an overview of start-ups incubated at LUMS. The delegation’s visit concluded with a campus tour. “It was a great experience to visit this wonderful campus and I’m quite impressed with the start-ups at the University,” commented one of the students.
