A delegation of DIC Corporation’s technical management comprising Mr. Makoto Shinozuka, Senior Manager Global Strategic Planning Polymers Products Division; Mr. Atsushi Miyagaki, Technical Advisor, Siam Chemical Industry Co. Ltd. and Dr. Asad Javaid, Project Manager Polymers, Pigments & Fine Chemicals DIC Pakistan Ltd. visited LUMS on May 3, 2017.
The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Basit Yameen, Chair Department of Chemistry, Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SBASSE). The visitors were given a detailed presentation and tour of the Chemistry Research Labs and SBASSE Central Lab facilities. Keeping in view the current and future product portfolio of DIC in Pakistan, workable strategies of establishing an effective collaboration between Department of Chemistry at LUMS and DIC Corporation were discussed.

DIC Pakistan is Pakistan's largest printing ink manufacturer.
