Sana Warraich, a LUMS law alumna will be joining Harvard Law School LL.M. programme on a Fulbright Scholarship this fall. The Fulbright is a programme of competitive, merit-based grants for international educational exchange founded by US Senator J. William Fulbright in 1946. The US government’s flagship scholarship programme awards full scholarships to deserving students from across the world who wish to complete their Master's or PhD, in a field of their choice, in universities across the United States.
Sana graduated from the Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL) in 2015 and is currently working at Vellani and Vellani, a Karachi based law firm which specialises in commercial matters, as well as litigation and intellectual property services. Sana describes her experience at the firm as an important stepping stone in her professional and academic legal career. Sana will be pursuing an LL.M. with a focus on human rights, public policy and public international law.
